See the Elephant heads to Tales of the Cocktail 2025
The “TRUNK SHOW” at Bar Tonique was a hot event, quite literally, but we were able to cool things down with an ice luge and delicious cocktails.

On Monday, the first full day of the annual Tales of the Cocktail Celebration in New Orleans See the Elephant Amaro took center stage at Bar Tonique in New Orleans for an official Tales of the Cocktail Happy Hour — and the brand love and energy was amazing.
Hosted by Bar Tonique’s ever-welcoming GM, Ed, and brought to life by the talented Jarrett and Maggie behind the bar, the event drew a crowd of cocktail lovers and industry professionals. With over 1,500 RSVPs and more than 300 attendees, the space buzzed with celebration, curiosity, and the ice luge was flowing the whole time!
Guests cooled down in true New Orleans fashion — taking ice-cold shots of See the Elephant straight from a custom ice luge — and sipped on inventive cocktails crafted just for the event. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many returning for seconds (and thirds). The ice luge was massive. Thanks to Ice Dragon Ice for the amazing design!
In keeping See the Elephant’s adventurous spirit and creative approach, attendees were also invited to leave a mark by writing poems and notes on postcards, creating a spontaneous collection of whimsical, heartfelt reflections that perfectly captured the mood.
Between the giveaways, great drinks, and warm community, the Trunk Show was a joyful kickoff to Tales of the Cocktail week — a celebration of flavor, artistry, and the journey ahead.

Tales of the Cocktail Continued on Tuesday with Two Great Events - SLICE & DICE at Nighthawk Napoletana and PAGLIACCIA PARADE at Espiritu with Sother Teague from Amor y Amargo
Slice & Dice at Nighthawk Napoletana: A Game of Chance, Amaro, and Pizza
Our Tuesday takeover at Nighthawk Napoletana brought a playful twist to cocktail hour with the Slice & Dice event — where your fate was left up to a roll of the dice. Guests lined up to try their luck, with rolls determining whether they walked away with a shot, custom cocktail, See the Elephant merch, or a slice of Nighthawk’s legendary pizza.
The star of the show? A fresh and herbaceous Gin, Genepy and See the Elephant Amaro cocktail that kept spirits high and glasses clinking. With great energy, laughter, and just enough chaos, it was a night that brought together food, fortune, and fun in the most delicious way possible.
It was incredible meeting some new friends from Lot 001 Brands who lent a helping hand. Grazie mille to Cameron and Arik. Plus we came up with a fun new shot including Pelacanas Rum and See the Elephant Amaro - the EP Shot - 50/50 rum and amaro!

Pagliacci Parade at Espiritu: A Carnival of Curiosities

Later that evening, the magic shifted to Espiritu, where we hosted the surreal and spectacular Pagliacci Parade — a New Orleans-style carnival unlike any other. Inspired by the spirit of the clown prince himself, the night was bursting with live performances, costumed characters, and jaw-dropping entertainment. Big thank you and grazie mille to our friend Sother Teague for supporting the event.
Guests were enchanted by a tarot card reader, stunned by a fire breather, and mesmerized by a cast of carnival performers parading through the mezcal bar with theatrical flair. With See the Elephant cocktails in hand, the line between dream and reality blurred — and as more than one guest said, "You really had to SEE it to believe it."
